A new procedure for the dynamic design of anti-liquefaction ground improvement by sand compaction piles (SCP) is presented. According to the current procedure of SCP in the field, the new procedure simulates both static compaction by the insertion of casing pipe into the ground and dynamic compaction by vertical vibration of the casing pipe. This is far different from the conventional SCP design method which has been based on the empirical and static results of applications. This comprehensive anti-liquefaction design and dynamic evaluation system for sandy soft grounds is coded in a computer program "WAP3", and shows good results consistent with laboratory and field tests in terms of geotechnical and vibrational parameters. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
