A total of six types of foundation ground with embankment models incorporating the anti-liquefaction measures were prepared to measure the acceleration of the effects of the anti-liquefaction measures and the excess pore water pressure. The results of these measurements and the ground surface displacement measured on completion of the experiments were used for closer examination and evaluation of the anti-liquefaction measures.
