抄録（英）：
Several shaking table tests were performed to study the characteristics of permanent displacement of sandy gravel ground and the settlement of structures in a sandy gravel deposit. In these tests, cellulose liquid was used instead of water to decrease permeability. Permanent ground displacement due to liquefaction occurred in the sandy gravel layer and in a loose sand layer, if the permeability of the sandy gravel was decreased to the same value as that of the loose sand layer. However, the settlement of structures was smaller in the sandy gravel deposit than in the sand deposit.
