In the seismic hazard analysis using the probabilistic method, the most important point is how seismic source model reflects the seismicity of the region. Areal seismic sources are determined by the seisimotechtonics proposed by Hagiwara and their seismic occurrence parameters are determined by the earthquake catalogs of 100-ycar period. Extreme value distributions of yearly peak ground displacement at six meteorological observatories and yearly peak ground acceleration at three SMAC stations calculated by the seismic hazard analysis using thin sources are compared to observed ones. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
