Many embankments were damaged by the 1993 Kushiro-Oki Earthquake and the 1993 Hokkaido Nansei-Oki Earthquake. We measured microtremors on and near the damaged experienced embankments. In this paper the measurements of a rather heavily damaged embankments are described. Main results are as follows: (1)Indexes K¡, K¡, and K, proposed by Nakamura et al.¡, are useful for the damage estimation of the embankment and the foundation ground. (2)The value of K¡, K¡ and K become higher at the damage parts of the embankment and of the ground, corresponding to the estimated strain of 10¡ or over. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
