抄録（英）：
Two big earthquakes struck Japan during only half a year in 1993, one Kushiro-Oki on January 15 and the other Hokkaido Nansei-Oki on July 12, both causing a lot of damage to facilities including instalations such as farm roads, reclaimed farm land, channels, head works, drainage pump stations, pipelines and fill dams. In this paper we give an outlines of the damage to agricultural facilities and its features. Especially, damage to fill dams during and after the earthquakes will be reported in details. The above mentioned earthquakes cause a large damage to small earth dams, such as failure. but slight damage to larger-sized rock fill dams.
