抄録（英）：
In Okushiri island the 1993 Hokkaido Nannsei-oki tsunami left the run-up height more than 15m along coast, particularily more than 30 m at local point. The tsunami was diffracted and refracted around this island, therefor the tsunami run-up height of more than 5m was measured at the Okushiri harbor, which placed at he back of island from the epicenter. Numerical simulation showed tsunami was trapped around this island and attacked to the west coast several times.
