In the previous work, Ref. 1 a model for analysing irregularities was presented and results discussed for a few cases. In this work we apply the same methodology to determine the maximum extension of setbacks in plan and height which allow the distinction between regular and irregular buildings for design purposes. The analysis is directed towards 12,16 and 2O storey-high reinforced concrete buildings idealized as a set of plane moment resisting frames connected to shear walls by rigid diaphrams. Each building was studied for three different horizontal layouts and for five vertical configurations. The results are presented in terms of maximum ductility demands. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
