Long-spanned bridges and pipelines are subjected to seismic excitations with spatial variation in magnitude and phase. However, it is quite a difficult task to obtain the complete characteristics of the seismic excitations, especially the cross-correlation between two supports, whether in a deterministic or probabilistic analysis, In this respect, this paper presents bounds of mean square response of beam subjected to stationary excitations from the supports. These bounds are theoretically derived under the incomplete condition that the cross-correlation between any two supports is arbitrary. The derived upper bound is quite important in a design of such structures. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
