The horizontal resistance of three one-fifth scale reinforced concrete space frame test structures with respect to the vertical load level effect is described The test structures were subjected to a reversed horizontal loading under a constant vertical load. The variables are the level the vertical constant load, and the horizontal loading direction. According to these variables, crack patterns, vertical deflections shapes, characteristics of slab strains and of the restoring force are discussed.
