SEISMIC RESPONSE OF SHAFT FOR UNDERGROUND TRANSMISSION LINE
|
´˜^i‰pjF
The dynamic behavior of a shaft for underground power transmission line during an earthquake clearly corresponded to the shear deformations of the surrounding soil. The maximum re-bar stress of the shaft, soil pressure and shear stress distribution around the shaft could well be reproduced by the two-dimensional dynamic finite element code, FLUSH-VB, and to the same extent by a simplified quasi-static analysis method, GRAMBS.
