Ground compaction, as a measure against liquefaction, needs designing of optimum area for assuring both safety and economy. Analytical as well as experimental study is conducted towards this end by using the sheet pile quaywall models. The results are obtained which relate the width of the compacted area with the residual deformation and the bending moment of the sheet pile. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
