In this paper, considering that valuable information concerning the aseismic design of structures is hidden in saturated records, a more reasonable method to mend the JMA's seismograms is proposed. The investigation for this method showed the following results; 1) A saturated seismogram prepared by response analysis could be mended by this method with a low percent error, and 2) For the saturated seismogram obtained from a shaking table test, though the seismogram mended by this method has a few unreasonable peaks, the velocity response spectrum with 2% damping is generally congruent with that calculated from the motion of the shaking table. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
