Consideration of the nonstationary correlation in multivariate earthquake motions is important in the design of large foundations and spatially extended structures. In this study, an effective technique for the nonstationary cross spectrum(evolutionary cross spectrum) of multivariate earthquake motions is developed, which is an extension of evolutionary power spectrum technique proposed by Kameda Numerical examples of evolutionary cross spectra are calculated for some Japanese records obtained. On this basis, the validity of the technique proposed herein is examined. Discussion is also made on the nonstationary cross spectral characteristics of multidimensional earthquake motions. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
