Some features of earthquake ground motions due to the Mexican Earthquake of September 19, 1985, are analyzed and reported. Attenuation with distance of the earthquake ground motions are investigated. Also, properties of principal axes and non-linear response spectra of the ground motions in Mexico City are calculated.
