During the Mexico Earthquake of Sept. 19, 1985, several seismograms of strong ground motions were observed in Mexico City. Among them, two seismograms obtained at the Office and the Freezing House in Central de Abastos showed quite difference in spite of their closely short distance. For the interpretation about this phenomenon, local effects of soft soil condition on seismograms were discussed using the results of microtremor measurements and borehole data. And finally, authors presented a simple method to evaluate such kind of ground motions by considering the effect of two dimensional multiple reflection procedure of SH-waves in enclosed soft soil deposit. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
