In recent severe earthquake in Japan, Off-Miyagi Pref. Earthquake of June 12, 1978, there were many reinforced concrete structures which would be collapsed due to existence of a great deal of eccentricity. It is important in earthquake resistant design of structures to know the effect of eccentricity on distribution of rigidity of a structure. Behaviour of inelastic response of two-dimensional structures subjected to strong motions is investigated in this paper. The model, in this paper, idealized by a shearing system is composed of frames in two directions, and stiffness-degrading model is applied to the restoring-force displacement relationship of each frame. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
