The phase properties of Fourier integral of both a recorded seismic wave and theoretical waves calculated from fault models in the frequency domain are analyzed using the quantity of group delay which is the derivative of phase lag with respect to angle frequency ¡. In the calculation of group delay, the phase lag is composed to be a monotonously increasing function of ¡@from the real and imaginary part of the Fourier integral of waves. It becomes clear, through the considerations on the phase characteristics of the waves with the group delay, that the variation of the group delay have comparatively close relations to nonstationary properties of amplitude of the original waves. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
