This paper deals with ground motion records other than the ordinary horizontal acceleration record. Several sorts of ground motions have been observed in the Chiba Field Station. The authors want to discuss their characteristics and their significance for the anti-earthquake design of industrial facilities, such as three dimensional piping systems, cylindrical oil storages, spherical tanks, reactor core assembly of nuclear power plants and so on. Slightly long period ground motions, torsional ground motions and multi-dimensional ground acceleration are examined in this report. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
