In this paper, for analyses on various parameters necessary for the aseismic design including the simulation of ground motion, stochastic tools are extensively utilized. Contents of analyses are possibilities of applying "principal axes" proposed by J.Penzien and M.Watabe, stochastic correlations between maxima of horizontal and vertical components, relation between duration time and magnitude of earthquake, response spectral shape expressed in terms of hypocentral distance and magnitude of earthquake and new concept of deterministic intensity function derived from mathematical models through the check of RUN and CHI SQUARE. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
