We studied the local characteristics on source, propagation and site effects from JMA87-type strong motion records. For this purpose we separated source effects, propagation path effects in connection with the geometical attenuation and anelasticity(Q-value), and site amplification effects by using Iwata and Irikura(1988)'s method. Then we can show three results. First is that we evaluated the difference of the relation between 1/Q and frequency in special regions in Japan. We found that the difference is very small. Second is that we evaluated the amplification factor of 33 JMA observation points in frequency domain 0.1-10Hz, then we found that the amplification factor is related with ground conditions of the observed point. Third is that we evaluated source parameters from observed records, specially we can show the distribution of stress drop in Japan. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
