We observed behavior of sand-kaolin mixuture during saturation,consolidation and undrained shear process.Effects of variation in clay content and the initial void ratio are investigated.With the increase in the clay content,the compressibility of clayey sand during saturation and consolidation increases and tends to be compresseed isotropically.It results in the similar undrained shear behavior in triaxial compression and extension.The undrained residual strength starts to increase when the clay content is higher than 20%. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF compression,extenssion,fabric anisotropy ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
