将来の被害地震に備えてニュージーランド・クライストチャーチ市で常時微動測定を行った.地震観測点で常時微動の定点観測を行い,常時微動の水平/上下スペクトル比の安定性および地震観測結果との関連性を確認した.市内で常時微動観測を行い,各点の卓越周期や相対的な増幅特性を検討した.地盤特性は表層地質と大きく関連があり,地域性があることがわかった.

Microtremor measurements were made in Christchurch city,New Zealand.24-hour observations were made at three specific sites where seismic observations had been carried out.Horizontal to vertical spectral ratios showed little significant time dependence.Predominant periods and peak values were correlated with the ground motion characteristics obtained from the seismic data.Predominant periods and peak values obtained from the spectral ratio for moving observations varied with the surface geology.
