抄録（和）：
1993年北海道南西地震における各事業所の大型石油タンクのスロッシングデータと､各タンクサイトの最寄りの地点(気象官署など)のにおける強震記録を収集し､前者の観測波高と後者から計算した応答波高を比較した｡その結果､観測波高を良く説明できる場合と出来ない場合があり､この原因として､波高の測定方法の曖昧さ､タンクへの入力地震動の不適切な評価などが考えられることを指摘した｡

First,we collected the data of sloshing wave heights of large oil tanks and strong ground motion records at the closest observatories(JMA etc.)during the 1993 Hokkaido-Nansei-Oki earthquake.Then,we executed the dynamic response analyses using those records and compared the calaulated wave heights with the observed ones.Errors in the measurment of sloshing wave heights and inappropriate evaluation of the input ground motion were pointed out as the cause of the discrepancy between the calculated heights and observed ones.
