各種の最大地動指標の変換係数に関する研究

78の気象庁地震観測所における201地震の694組の水平2成分の気象庁87式加速度計による加速度記録を用いて,最大地動指標変換係数について解析を行った.ここでは最大地動指標変換係数を,水平2成分の各成分から得られる最大加速度やスペクトル強度などの地動の最大値を表わす指標を,水平2成分の合成波から得られるもので正規化した係数と定義しており,結果として最大地動指標変換係数は,少なくともマグニチュード,震源深さ,震央距離にはほとんど依存しないことがわかった.

Analysis of peak ground motion indices form 1368 horizontal acceleration records of 201 earthquakes at 78 Japan Meteorological Agency(JMA)stations using the new JMA-87 type accelerometers were done for different definitions of peaks.Each pair of twoorth ogonal horizontal components was combined in time domain to get the maximum resultant ground motion index in the horizontal plane.Then differently defined peak values were normalized by the maximum resultant ground motion index.It was found that these normalized peak values of ground motion are almost independent of magnitude,depth,and epicentrai distance.The ratios derived here for ground motion indices can be used for the conversion of attenuation or damage estimation relationships developed for different definitions of peaks.
