Buried pipelines are susceptible to be deformed by lateral spreading of liquefied sandy soils.The lateral spreading is a sort of patterns of liquefaction-induced permanent ground deformation.Estimation of the external forces acting on the pipelines and the spatial extent of the lateral spreading are very important for deformation analysis of the pipelines.Closed form solution of the buried pipelines is obtained.Flexible pipelines are defined with the parameters representing the buried pipe and the spatial extent of the PGD,which pipelines are able to be displaced similar to the permanent ground movements. キーワード（英）： Liquefaction,Permanent displacement,Lateral spreading,Buried pipeline,Seismic design 記事区分： - 区分 　　　委員会論文集
