震央域強震記録における顕著な相に着目した1979年Imperial渓谷地震の多重震源性に関する解析

抄録（和）：
断層周辺30地点での強震加速度水平記録に見られる顕著な相を視覚的法と定量的手法により固定し，逆問題を解くことにより顕著な相と震源位置との関係を調べた. その結果, 本地震が3つの小地震から成っており, 短周期成分を最も放出したのは震源から断層沿いに8〜13Km 離れた地_であることが明らかにされた.

抄録（英）：
An analysis of identifying the multiple rupture process of the 1979 Imperial Valley, California earthquake is made utilizing distinct phases in the near-field horizontal celerograms. Two methods are employed in the identification ofthe distinct phases e is the visual inspection method and the other the quantitative method, The location the source corresponding to the distinct phases is determined using the 5-wave travel ie curve, It is found that the earthquake is a multiple event with three smaller events the period of less than 1 to 2 seconds and that the main energy is released from a alized portion about 8 to 13 kilometers from the epicenter to northwest along the alt, The results are compared withthe spatial dislocation model of this earthquake tained by Hartzell and Kelmberger.
