Expirical scaling of Fourier Amplitude Spectra in terms of the Modified Mercalli Intensity (M.M.I.), local soil conditions ("rock", stiff soil, and deep soil) and local geologic conditions (basement rock, intermediate sites and sites on sediments) are presented. It is suggested that both soil and geological site effects should be used together in estimation of the site specific Fourier amplitude spectra. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF strong motion earthquake spectra, site effects ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@@˜_•¶W
